The 12-track collection includes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/ariana-grande-breathin-thank-u-next-pop-charts-754240\/\">the title track<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/ariana-grande-7-rings-rodgers-hammerstein-sound-of-music-787196\/\">\u201c7 Rings,\u201d<\/a> both of which previously debuted at Number One on the Hot 100.<\/p>\n<p>While working on\u00a0<em>Thank U, Next,\u00a0<\/em>Grande returned to the studio with a number of longtime collaborators, including Tommy \u201cTB Hits\u201d Brown,\u00a0Victoria Mon\u00e9t and Savan Kotecha. She also recruited some new names: Justin Tranter, known for his work with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, Andrew \u201cPop\u201d Wansel, who has produced hits for Usher and Alessia Cara, and the duo Nova Wav, who played a major role on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/beyonce-jay-z-collaborators-detail-how-everything-is-love-came-together-665914\/\">Carters\u2019 surprise album\u00a0<\/a><em>Everything Is Love\u00a0<\/em>last year.<\/p>\n<p>Grande\u2019s latest LP comes less than six months after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/review-ariana-grande-finds-serenity-and-has-some-fun-on-sweetener-713404\/\">her last full-length,\u00a0<em>Sweetener<\/em><\/a>. In between albums, the singer released an impressive string of hits that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/ariana-grande-7-rings-rodgers-hammerstein-sound-of-music-787196\/\">culminated with \u201c7 Rings,\u201d<\/a> which is currently enjoying a second week at Number One. Most singers are lucky to get one single into heavy rotation on pop radio, but Grande has three at once, a remarkable feat. Those tracks combined to reach more than 145 million Top 40 listeners on the airwaves last week, according <a href=\"http:\/\/charts.bdsradio.com\/bdsradiocharts\/charts.aspx?formatid=1\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">to Nielsen BDS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Grande\u2019s success, she will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/ariana-grande-not-attending-grammys-insulted-790743\/\">not be attending or performing at the Grammys<\/a> on Sunday. The award show\u2019s producer, Ken Ehrlich, claimed Grande would be absent because she \u201cfelt it was too late for her to pull something together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The singer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/ariana-grande-grammys-ken-ehrlich-twitter-response-791255\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">took to Twitter<\/a> on Thursday to correct the record. \u201cI\u2019ve kept my mouth shut but now you\u2019re lying about me,\u201d Grande\u00a0wrote. \u201cI can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken.
