Ariana Grande<\/a> makes a simple request in the \u201cBreak Up With Your Girlfriend I\u2019m Bored\u201d video. The singer dropped her\u00a0Sweetener<\/em> follow-up\u00a0Thank U, Next<\/em> last night.<\/p>\n

Grande begins the video by entering a club and spotting a boy from across the dancefloor. Soon she sees his girlfriend, and ends up joining them on the floor. She begins being friendly with the girlfriend, playing with her hair and eventually following the couple to a house party. From there, she is a third wheel following them around, rolling her eyes and eventually joining them in a hot tub. At the end, she ends up going in for a kiss with the girlfriend instead of the beau you presume Grande is aiming to seduce.<\/p>\n

\u201cBreak Up With Your Girlfriend I\u2019m Bored\u201d is the latest single from\u00a0Thank U, Next<\/em><\/a> and features a sample of \u2018N Sync\u2019s \u201cIt Makes Me Ill.\u201d It was preceded by the album\u2019s title track and the trap-pop \u201c7 Rings,\u201d both of which were Number One singles.<\/p>\n

Grande\u00a0won\u2019t be attending or performing at the Grammys<\/a>\u00a0on Sunday. In an interview published on Thursday, the award show\u2019s producer, Ken Ehrlich, claimed Grande would be absent because she \u201cfelt it was too late for her to pull something together.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer\u00a0took to Twitter<\/a>\u00a0on Thursday to correct the record. \u201cI\u2019ve kept my mouth shut but now you\u2019re lying about me,\u201d Grande\u00a0wrote. \u201cI can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. It was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you that I decided not to attend.\u201d She described the Grammys as \u201cjust a game\u201d before adding, \u201cI\u2019m sorry, but that\u2019s not what music is to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
