On Friday morning, Summit County experienced widespread power outages due to a major gas leak in the region<\/a>, according to a release from the Summit County Government.<\/p>\n

Xcel Energy worked through the morning to mitigate the issue, but lingering power outages remained in the county through the early afternoon.<\/p>\n

The outages also affected lift service and other amentities at the county\u2019s handful of ski resorts and ski areas.<\/p>\n

Check below for the latest updates on what\u2019s open at the resorts and ski areas throughout the afternoon and evening:<\/p>\n

Breckenridge Ski Resort and Keystone Resort are currently closed due to a power outage that is affecting several areas throughout Summit County. Xcel Energy is working to restore power as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Mountaintop Snow Tubing will be opening at noon. Night Skiing and Riding will be open this evening. However, we will be canceling Night Dining tonight.<\/p>\n
