In a nod to a-ha\u2019s famous music video, the clip jumps between live footage and intricate pencil animations of the band\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The decision to tap Calpurnia for the \u201cTake On Me\u201d video is particularly fitting since the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/finn-wolfhard-calpurnia-cover-song-spotify-weezer-727863\/\">group notably covered<\/a> Weezer\u2019s classic \u201cSay It Ain\u2019t So\u201d for Spotify\u2019s <em>Under Cover<\/em> podcast last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Weezer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/weezer-africa-covers-lp-the-teal-album-783780\/\">surprise-released<\/a> <em>The Teal Album<\/em> in January, eight months after they scored a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/weezer-africa-rock-cover-hit-716421\/\">surprise hit<\/a> with their fan-demanded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/weezer-weird-al-yankovic-africa-video-728416\/\">cover of Toto\u2019s \u201cAfrica.\u201d<\/a> The album also includes renditions of the Turtles\u2019 \u201cHappy Together,\u201d Tears for Fears\u2019 \u201cEverybody Wants to Rule the World,\u201d Black Sabbath\u2019s \u201cParanoid,\u201d Ben E. King\u2019s \u201cStand By Me\u201d and more,<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">On March 1st, Weezer will release their 13th studio album, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/weezer-black-album-zombie-bastards-759206\/\"><em>The Black Album<\/em><\/a>, which was produced by TV On the Radio\u2019s Dave Sitek.
