July 2019.\u201d In a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chancetherapper\/status\/1095366741180497920\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">series<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chancetherapper\/status\/1095367086006779904\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">of<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chancetherapper\/status\/1095375672187465728\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">tweets<\/a>, Chance described what separates his debut album from mixtapes like\u00a0<em>Acid Rap<\/em> and <em>Coloring Book<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis my 1st album so its really good,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI got real famous so I gotta lotta eyes on me that wasn\u2019t fans of me they just fans of whats popular. My first album is for my fans. I\u2019ll always be immensely proud of what I did with Coloring Book. Same Drugs, Summer Friends and Juke Jam are some the realest songs I\u2019ve ever written so u dont have to defend <em>Coloring Book<\/em> to me. It happened, it made history but I did it already. The album wont be acid rap either.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chance\u2019s last project, <em>Coloring Book<\/em>, was released in 2016. It made <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/on-the-charts-drake-rules-but-chance-the-rapper-makes-history-59767\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">history by debuting at Number Eight on the <em>Billboard<\/em> 200<\/a>, despite not selling a single copy: It was streamed 57.3 million times on Apple Music after its release.
