Don\u2019t worry. On Feb. 24 the ceremony comes to town with a viewing party and fundraiser supporting the Breckenridge Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Guests are invited to walk Summit County\u2019s version of the red carpet while supporting independent film and experiencing Hollywood\u2019s most important ceremony honoring last year\u2019s best films live on the movie screen at the Speakeasy Theater in Breckenridge. Live auction items being offered include getaways to Mexico, Arizona, New Mexico, Telluride and more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cHollywood and Wine is shaping up to be a really fun event, and the Breck Film Fest is excited to host the Academy Awards ceremony as our annual fundraiser,\u201d said Breckenridge Film Festival executive director Janice Miller in a release. \u201cRidge St. Kitchen Catering is back on board, we\u2019ve added a fabulous live auction and a few other surprises to round out the festivities. In addition to the fun, it\u2019s an important night to support unique film experiences outside of blockbusters in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Other festivities include a silent auction, film trivia games, best-dressed contests and fun opportunities to win prizes. Cocktail attire is encouraged but not required.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Doors open at 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 24 and the evening will finish at the end of the ceremony when the winner of Best Picture is announced. Individual tickets are $45 in advance, $70 for VIP tickets and $260 for a VIP four-pack.
