The new avalanche slide path seen below Mount Victoria Thursday, March 7, in Frisco. Many social media users are looking to give the new slide path a name, much the same way a ski run would be named.<\/strong>

March has been one for the books in Colorado, with heavy winter storms causing avalanches of historic proportions to rip across the state<\/a>. The treacherous conditions caused resorts to close terrain, and a series of slides shut down highways multiple times and with one even burying several cars on Highway 91<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One of these avalanches changed the view for residents in Frisco after it collapsed overnight near the J Chute just off Rainbow Lake, stripping trees and leaving a gigantic white scar on the side of the peak. Now the new slide path between Peak 1 and Mount Victoria is getting even more attention on social media. As the path is estimated at a couple hundred feet wide, from a distance it looks like Frisco has a new ski run, and locals are looking to name it.<\/p>\n

A particular favorite around the county is Silent Bob, due to it\u2019s proximity to J Chute, a reference to the movie \u201cClerks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Black Thursday Chute and Ironing Board have also been thrown out, although some Facebook users are saying you can\u2019t name it until you\u2019ve skied it (which is dangerous and not recommended, officials say).<\/p>\n
