The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame<\/a> has announced the names of the presenters for this year\u2019s induction ceremony. Presenters will include Harry Styles<\/a> for Stevie Nicks, Brian May<\/a> for Queen<\/a>, Trent Reznor<\/a> for the Cure, Janelle Mon\u00e1e for Janet Jackson, David Byrne<\/a> for Radiohead, Susanna Hoffs<\/a> for the Bangles<\/a> and John Taylor and Simon Le Bon for Roxy Music.<\/p>\n

The ceremony will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on March 29th. Details on performances have not been made public, but Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, the Zombies and Roxy Music are all expected to perform. Thom Yorke has indicated that he will not be in attendance because a piano piece that he wrote is debuting at the Paris Philharmonic nine days after the event. \u201cThe Rock & Roll Hall of Fame\u2026 we\u2019ve always been very blas\u00e9 about that stuff,\u201d Yorke told Variety<\/em> in January.<\/a> \u201cSo we don\u2019t want to offend anyone. We just think that we just don\u2019t quite understand it. We\u2019ve had it explained to us, so it\u2019s cool. But we don\u2019t really understand it as English people.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Zombies, however, have a very different take on the situation. \u201cI think it kind of validates everything we\u2019ve done,\u201d singer Colin Blunstone told Rolling Stone<\/em>.<\/a> \u201cThis is the pinnacle, to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. What a reward for all of the ups and downs over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Def Leppard\u2019s Joe Elliott feels the same way. \u201cHow wonderful to be in the same club as the Rolling Stones and the Beatles and the Who and Queen,\u201d he told Rolling Stone<\/em>.<\/a> \u201cIt\u2019s a good club to be in.\u201d<\/p>\n
