The heaviest snow and strongest winds will be during the day today, diminishing in the late afternoon or evening.<\/p>\n<p>At 8:30 a.m. officials with the county announced both Dillon Dam and Swan Mountain roads are closed due to adverse weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>To the east, near zero visibilities are expected with wind gusts of up to 80 mph and up to a foot of snow on the plains east of a line from Greeley to Denver International Airport. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/news\/airlines-canceling-flights-out-of-denver-on-wednesday-ahead-of-expected-blizzard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Wednesday flights were canceled before snow even began falling (opens in a new tab)\">Wednesday flights were canceled before snow even began falling<\/a> in anticipation of the storm.
