Mark Hoppus has shared that there’s no bad blood between Blink-182<\/strong> and Tom DeLonge, following Tom’s 2015 departure from the band.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Pedestrian<\/a>, Mark has shared “I think that Tom\u2019s very happy doing his thing, and we are very happy doing our thing, and there\u2019s no hard feelings and there\u2019s no animosity or bad blood there, it\u2019s just like I said; he\u2019s doing his stuff, we\u2019re doing ours.”<\/em><\/p>\n

He continuted to share “I have not spoken to Tom since before \u2018California\u2019 came out. So not for a couple of years. But like I said before there\u2019s no bad blood, it\u2019s just we haven\u2019t spoken. <\/em>I mean he\u2019s dedicated so much of his life to [UFOs] and so much time and energy researching things and listening to people speak, and talking about it himself, that it would seem like a total bummer if he didn\u2019t get a chance to fly into outer space and see for himself.”<\/em><\/p>\n

And Mark is right – it would be a total bummer. <\/p>\n

These comments follow on from Tom DeLonge opening up earlier this week<\/a> about his reasons for quitting Blink-182 to pursue other ventures.<\/p>\n

Tom shared \u201cThe last show I played was in front of 100,000 people. They wonder why I\u2019m not doing that now and I\u2019ll say because this is the one moment in my life where I\u2019ll be able to look back as an old man and say, \u2018oh my god, I was a part of the team that changed the world.'” <\/em><\/p>\n
