Westbrook, which is based in both Calabasas, California and Tokyo, was founded in 2015 by Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith, Miguel Melendez and Kosaku Yada. It represents Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, Kenna and Crespo, as well as running a short form content and studio division.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the merger, Melendez will now become a partner in the new venture at Three Six Zero, which is owned by British executive Mark Gillespie. \u201cBringing Miguel, his clients and his management team to Three Six Zero is an exciting next step on our journey to expand our entertainment management and intellectual property business,\u201d Gillespie said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve had a very close and collaborative relationship with Mark and his artists for some time, and love his approach to this business,\u201d added Will Smith. \u201cI\u2019m beyond excited to join forces with this globally-minded and extremely talented team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Melendez is an executive producer of Jada Pinkett Smith\u2019s Facebook Watch show <em>Red Table Talks<\/em>. He is also an executive producer on Will Smith\u2019s <em>The Bucket List<\/em>, which was Facebook Watch\u2019s biggest launch to date.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMark\u2019s vision for the future combined with Three Six Zero\u2019s incredible talent roster will only enhance our ability to innovate in the management and content creation space,\u201d said Melendez. \u201cMark and I believe in the power of bringing talent together and leading with their artistry and creativity on all levels.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Harris and Ti\u00ebsto, Three Six Zero also represents actor Shameik Moore, who recently played the lead in the Oscar-winning <em>Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse<\/em>.
