This low-key version transforms Post Malone\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/hear-post-malone-swae-lees-new-spider-man-collaboration-sunflower-744442\/\">pop-ready number<\/a> into a vibe-y indie rock tune, stripping back the synth beats in favor of sparse piano chords.<\/p>\n<p>Post Malone\u2019s single, which appeared on the soundtrack for <em>Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse<\/em>, featured Swae Lee and was penned specifically for the animated Marvel film. The song <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/post-malone-inevitable-780940\/\">topped the charts<\/a> after the movie was released in theaters.<\/p>\n<p>Vampire Weekend has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/vampire-weekend-father-of-the-bride-interview-782719\/\">preparing to release<\/a> their fourth album, <em>Father of the Bride,&nbsp;<\/em>which drops May 3. During their BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sounds\/play\/p07467b7\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">session<\/a> the band also performed \u201cHarmony Hall,\u201d a track off the upcoming album. Ezra Koenig previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/vampire-weekend-father-of-the-bride-interview-782719\/\">told <em>Rolling<\/em> <em>Stone<\/em><\/a> he had a moment of panic when he realized there was already a single called \u201cSunflower,\u201d thinking, \u201c\u2018God, we have to get this out!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Koenig said of the new music, \u201cOn our first album, most of the songs were written in college, and it had a very youthful vibe. On the second and third records, the wide-eyed enthusiasm dimmed considerably. You see more of the world, and you\u2019re more and more disheartened. But that trajectory can\u2019t go on forever. After you make the black-and-white album cover with the songs about death, you can\u2019t go deeper.
