Remember that week earlier in the year when everyone was talking about that Fyre Festival documentary? You know the one. You probably watched it! And so did Mark Hoppus.<\/p>\n

Speaking to NME<\/a> about the documentary, the Blink-182 <\/strong>frontman revealed at what point the band pulled themselves from the line-up.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was pretty shocking,\u201d<\/em> Mark shared about watching the Fyre Fest documentary for the first time. \u201cIt was shocking but not entirely surprising. We had indications kind of early on that there were problems. Our production crew was having problems getting even the most basic of answers as to staging, power and things that you would normally have well in advance of the show. That being said, us and our crew have always prided ourselves on being able to put on a good show.”<\/em><\/p>\n

He continued \u201cIf you give us electricity and a stage then we will do our best to put on a great show. We continued in good faith, the show got closer and closer. Travis [Barker, drums] doesn\u2019t fly so he was going to have to get on a boat for several days to get there then our production crew just said, \u2018I don\u2019t think that this is going to happen, I think we should pull out now\u2019. That\u2019s when we issued our statement.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Following the release of the documentary it’s been revealed that Seth Rogan and The Lonely Island are seeking to make a spoof feature film about the festival. Which poses the question – who would play each of the members of Blink in the film?<\/p>\n

\u201cThat has to be Ryan Gosling for me, of course,”<\/em> shared Mark. “Matt [Skiba] would be played by someone goth-y like Crispin Glover and Travis would be played by Machine Gun Kelly.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
