The Breckenridge Tourism Office has been recognized as a 2019 Webby Honoree by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences for the BTO\u2019s website, GoBreck.com, which was launched last year with a mobile-first strategy. The redesigned website was created in a partnership with Bellweather Agency.<\/strong>

In a partnership with New York City-based Bellweather Agency, the Breckenridge Tourism Office has been recognized as a Webby Honoree for the GoBreck.com website in the Best visual design and function category by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.<\/p>\n

The redesigned website was launched in April 2018, designed to be mobile-first with animations offering a movie-like feel for videos. The site also features accelerated mobile pages, which help to improve the experience for mobile users.<\/p>\n

The Webby Awards has been celebrating the best of the internet for over 20 years now, and becoming a Webby Honoree means securing a designation that\u2019s only granted to the top 20% of all work entered into the contest, according to a BTO news release.<\/p>\n

The release added that the BTO was the only destination marketing organization to receive such an honor, which puts the it alongside other honorees like ESPN, YouTube, Planned Parenthood and The Lego Foundation, which topped the ranks as 2019 Webby winners.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure if \u2018humbled\u2019 really sums up what it feels like to have our work and our home sit alongside some of the heavy hitters in this year\u2019s Webby honoree lineup,\u201d said Brett Howard, the BTO\u2019s chief marketing officer, in a prepared statement. \u201cWe\u2019ve worked tirelessly with an amazing partner, Bellweather Agency, to inspire travelers by showcasing Breckenridge\u2019s soul on a virtual level, with a recognition like this, our stoke is all time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last year, GoBreck.com<\/a> was also awarded an Outstanding Travel Website by the WebAwards, which recognize outstanding web design every year, as judged by industry leaders and experts.<\/p>\n
