He was born on September 19, 1950, in Staten Island, New York, to Thomas Paul and Marguerite Anne Kingston. He married Patricia Leslie Kingston on September 2, 1972 in Williamson, New York.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Robert received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1972 and his Masters in Business Administration from Boston University in 1976. He worked in nuclear engineering for Stone &amp; Webster in Boston, MA. from 1972 to 1975 and worked in design and consulting for IBM from 1977 to 2005. From 2006 to 2018, he owned and operated his own company, Re-Align Technology that specialized in solar-thermal design and consulting. Robert donated a solar thermal system to the Keystone Science School in 2009 and was a member of the Solar Energy Society, Delta Tau Delta and AOPA. He enjoyed skiing, hiking, golf, rafting, small plane flying, water skiing and fly fishing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Robert is survived by his spouse Patricia of Breckenridge; daughter Jessica Kingston of Breckenridge; son David Kingston of Breckenridge; brother Thomas Kingston and wife Lana of Kennebunkport, ME; sister Marguerite Ann Kingston of Staten Island, NY and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">A rosary service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at St. Mary\u2019s Catholic Church, 109 S. French Street, Breckenridge, CO and will be followed immediately by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial. A reception will follow the services, at 129 Powder Ridge Drive, Breckenridge, CO.
