Buckendahl \u201c Buck\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Todd M. Buckendahl \u201cBuck\u201d passed away in Boulder, Colorado on January 4, 2019 at the age of 55. Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Valerie Buckendahl, and sister, Tina Anders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">He is lovingly remembered by his father and stepmother, Dale and Patricia Buckendahl of Somerset, New Jersey; sister, Shante Pagel; niece, Candess (Brenton) White; great nephews Boden and Cody White and great niece, Kenna White; niece, Cassia (Dance) Morrison; great nieces, Serenity and Ceili Morrison; niece, Jessica Pagel; nephew, Garrett Anders; and niece, April Anders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Todd was born in Denver on January 2, 1964. He graduated from Westmont High School in 1982 and went on to study environmental Design at San Diego State University. He also completed studies and certification in welding through San Diego City College and San Mateo School of Welding.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">He settled in Silverthorne where he worked as the owner\/artist of Bent Metal. His work showcased his artistic creativity and skill through custom metal design and sculpting in award-winning homes and businesses. He donated his art to the Summit Recycling Project, and designed and built sculptures for the Family and Intercultural Resource Center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Todd was passionate about the outdoors and adventure! From snowmobiling and snowboarding to surfing and deep-sea fishing, he enjoyed activities in all climates. At times, he worked seasonally as a ski instructor and even obtained his license to captain boats in the Caribbean Sea. Todd never knew a stranger and wherever he was, he basked in good times, good food and drink and the love of his friends.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">A gathering to celebrate Todd will be held in memory of this adventurous soul on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 2 p.m. at 142 P Road, Silverthorne, CO 80498.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/news\/obituaries\/obituary-todd-m-buckendahl-buck\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Summit Daily<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Todd M.
