Breckenridge has suspended paid parking in town lots and the gondola parking lots through May.<\/strong><br \/><em>Kailyn Lamb \/ klamb@summitdaily.com<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Breckenridge has suspended paid parking in the town\u2019s parking lots and the gondola parking lots through May 31, though on-street paid parking will remain in effect.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">A town release notes the easiest way to pay for parking in Breckenridge is with the Passport Parking app on smartphones.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The Town is also offering an ongoing 10% discount for locals who use the \u201cLocals $3 Free\u201d wallet option on the Passport Parking app. Every time a user pre-funds his or her wallet with $30, the town will add $3 of free parking. Go to BreckPark.com for more instructions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Also, beginning May 1, vehicles may be parked overnight in various lots including Tonopah, Courthouse, Exchange, Barney Ford, Ice House and Wellington lots.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Pay parking begins at 10 a.m. in these lots starting June 1, and vehicles that have not paid after 10 a.m. could be ticketed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The release also notes there is no on-street parking from 2-6 a.m., and there is no overnight parking at the Tiger Dredge, Flot, Recreation Center, Breckenridge Grand Vacations Community Center, North or South Gondola lots, or Carter Park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Extended overnight parking \u2014 1 to 14 days \u2014 is available at the Airport Road lot for $5 a night on weekdays or $10 a night on weekends.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">For more details about parking in Breckenridge, go to <a id=\"N0x1dc06d0N0x1d87a00:N0x1dc06d0N0x1dc11f0\" href=\"http:\/\/BreckPark.com\">BreckPark.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/news\/local\/breckenridge-suspends-paid-parking-in-town-lots-gondola-parking-lots-through-may\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Summit Daily<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A tourist from Chicago pays for parking in Breckenridge in this February 2017 file photo.
