The Mueller investigation is not the end; it is the beginning. And that\u2019s what the president is so afraid of. He knows. He said, \u201cThis is the end of my presidency. I\u2019m f****d.<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n

And he is. That\u2019s why he\u2019s stonewalling. That\u2019s why he\u2019s trying to invoke executive privilege to keep former White House counsel Don McGahn from testifying. Whoops, he can\u2019t do that<\/a> because he already let McGahn testify to Mueller investigators for 30 hours.<\/p>\n

Does the president have any control over McGahn who is now a private citizen? Some say no.<\/p>\n

Trump says his administration will continue to refuse all subpoenas because Democrats \u201caren\u2019t like impartial people. The Democrats are trying to win 2020.\u201d \u201cCompliance with congressional subpoena is not optional,\u201d says U.S. Rep. Jerry Nadler, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.<\/p>\n

For the record, the Mueller report revealed<\/a> 10 times the president tried to obstruct justice. Mueller demurred to indict the president and passed that duty to Congress. Congress is doing its job. The president and his supporters are lying. Trump claims the Mueller report found \u201cno collusion, no obstruction.\u201d That\u2019s one of 10,000 lies<\/a> the president told.<\/p>\n

For the record, the Mueller team concluded Russia interfered with the 2016 election. The Washington Post reported<\/a>, \u201cMueller also secured indictments against 34 people, including six members of the Trump campaign in both financial and election-related cases, with charges ranging from conspiracy to obstruction to making false statements to witness tampering. Everyone within U.S. jurisdiction who was indicted by Mueller has been found guilty or has pleaded guilty except for Trump campaign adviser Roger Stone, who is awaiting trial.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump claims<\/a> Mueller \u201cchecked my taxes, checked my financials, which are great by the way. You know they\u2019re great. All you have to do is look at the records. They\u2019re all over the place.\u201d<\/p>\n

Not true. The problem is the records are NOT public. Trump promised to disclose his taxes, but he didn\u2019t. Now Congress is asking for six years of tax returns, and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin is not complying with the congressional subpoena. For the record, Trump\u2019s taxes are not mentioned in the Mueller Report<\/a>, at least what we can see of it.<\/p>\n

Attorney General Bill Barr flat out lied to Congress<\/a>. He is sworn to uphold the laws of the United States. Barr, a perennial Republican lackey, said he didn\u2019t know what Special Counsel Bob Mueller thought<\/a> of the AG\u2019s four-page summary. Mueller said on March 27 that his investigators provided executive summaries ready for public release. Mueller stated Barr\u2019s summary \u201cdid not fully capture the context, nature and substance of this office\u2019s work and conclusions.\u201d Mueller further blamed Barr for \u201cpublic confusion regarding critical aspects of the result of our investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Colorado Democratic Senate hopeful Mike Johnston, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Sens. and presidential hopefuls Michael Bennet, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillbrand and Amy Klobuchar are among a growing list of those demanding Barr\u2019s resignation<\/a>. Bennet blasted Barr for \u201cthe fact that he\u2019s lying to Congress and unwilling to go to the House to have a hearing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course it doesn\u2019t help that Fox News is repeating Trump lies, \u201cno obstruction,\u201d and keeps insisting the Democrats should apologize!<\/p>\n

Did you notice the Trump family is suing Deutsche Bank to stop a congressional subpoena<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Trump claims Congress wants \u201cto know about every deal I\u2019ve ever done.\u201d Nope, they are just trying to follow up on the Mueller investigation. They are following the money. If Trump\u2019s deals are so clean and transparent, what is the problem? Afraid we might find the truth? What about those tax returns that you promised when you got elected? Tax records every other sitting president of recent memory has turned over.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s scary to watch 43% of our country swear unflinching loyalty to this president. He lies more than any other president<\/a> in recorded history (61 lies in one speech on April 27).<\/p>\n

He bullies frenemies. He is viewed as accomplished only by his base.<\/p>\n

The only way he wins again is if you stay home, let your friends stay home or waste a vote on a third party candidate who cannot possibly defeat him. You know what I say, Vote for the Trout<\/a>!<\/p>\n
