Over 300 wines and spirits will be available to sample at Keystone’s Wine and Jazz Festival.<\/strong>

This year Keystone\u2019s Wine and Jazz Festival will feature more than 300 wines, a new festival beneficiary and two free performances from Denver\u2019s favorite jazz band, Dotsero.<\/p>\n

The name Dotsero, taken from the town Dotsero in the Rocky Mountains, means \u201cSomething Unique\u201d and the band will sure add a unique flair to the event. Along with Dotsero, Harold Rapp, Kirby Velarde Quartet, Stanley Jordan, Jackiem Joyner and Selena Albright will be joining the free music lineup this year.<\/p>\n

A highlight is that attendees can now track their favorite wine, beer or spirits samples from the more than 300 available with the Keystone Wine and Jazz Festival app. The app also includes the full schedule of music performances and wine seminars, as well as an interactive map of the River Run Village festival.<\/p>\n

For the first time, Summit Lake Dillon Optimist Club, a group that supports local community youth programs in Summit County for the past 40 years, will be the beneficiary of the event. During that time, the Optimists have initiated free programs for children in all fields of interest ranging from athletics and academic activities to community service endeavors.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so excited to support youth in our community this year through our partnership with the Lake Dillon Optimist Club,\u201d says Maja Russer, director of events and marketing for Keystone Neighbourhood Company in a press release. \u201cSo many community members attend and enjoy our events that is a wonderful feeling to be able to give a portion of the proceeds back to their families and the generations to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

One-day grand tasting tickets to the festival start at $60 per person while the seminar and culinary event tickets \u2014 which feature a talk on tequila or Prosecco and pancakes for brunch \u2014 range from $25\u2013$85 in advance.
