But <em>Between Me and My Mind<\/em>, the new documentary about singer-guitarist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/trey-anastasio\/\" id=\"auto-tag_trey-anastasio\" data-tag=\"trey-anastasio\">Trey Anastasio<\/a>, pulls back the curtain on the process. Anastasio can be seen having a conference call with drummer Jon Fishman as they work on the arrangement to \u201cThread,\u201d a song they debuted that year and played as recently as July 6th at Boston\u2019s Fenway Park. \u201cIt sticks in my head so much,\u201d Anastasio says to Fishman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need songs right now,\u201d Anastasio tells the camera, \u201cbecause we\u2019re trying to do this thing called the Bakers Dozen \u2026 Most bands do a similar show every night, so my head is kind of exploding with the whole thing. It\u2019s exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Between Me and My Mind<\/em> will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betweenmeandmymind.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">debut in theaters<\/a> on Wednesday, July 17.
