Berino also noted that the county\u2019s grasses have begun an aggressive curing process, spurring the increase in danger.<\/p>\n<p>The county\u2019s Stage 1 fire restrictions are still in place. The following is prohibited under Stage 1 fire restrictions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any open fire unless expressly authorized.<\/li>\n<li>The use or sale of recreational fireworks.<\/li>\n<li>The use of tracer ammunition or any other projectile containing incendiary materials.<\/li>\n<li>The use of recreational explosives, including exploding targets.<\/li>\n<li>The disposal of any burning object outdoors, including cigarettes, cigars and matches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>U.S. Forest Service Prohibited Activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building, maintaining, attending or using a fire, campfire or stove fire \u2014 including barbecues and grills \u2014 except in a permanent fire pit or grate within developed recreation sites.<\/li>\n<li>Smoking, except in an enclosed vehicle or building, a developed recreation site, or while stopped in an area at least three feet in diameter that is cleared of all flammable materials.<\/li>\n<li>Operating a chainsaw without a USDA or SAE approved spark arrester and a minimum 2A rated fire extinguisher.<\/li>\n<li>Welding or operating acetylene or other torches with an open flame, except in cleared areas of at least 10 feet in diameter and with a fire extinguisher.<\/li>\n<li>The use of any explosives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/news\/summits-fire-danger-returns-to-high\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Summit Daily<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FRISCO \u2014 The county\u2019s fire danger moved from moderate back to high on Friday afternoon, according to officials with Summit Fire and EMS.
