{"id":799793,"date":"2019-09-26T06:12:25","date_gmt":"2019-09-26T12:12:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=890760"},"modified":"2019-09-26T06:12:25","modified_gmt":"2019-09-26T12:12:25","slug":"watch-celine-dions-cinematic-video-for-imperfections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/ksmt\/music-news\/watch-celine-dions-cinematic-video-for-imperfections\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch Celine Dion\u2019s Cinematic Video for \u2018Imperfections\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Imperfections-Screen-23.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/celine-dion\/\" id=\"auto-tag_celine-dion\" data-tag=\"celine-dion\">Celine Dion<\/a> has released a music video for her recent single \u201cImperfections.\u201d Directed by <span lang=\"EN-CA\" xml:lang=\"EN-CA\">Gabriel Coutu-Dumont and produced by Janicke Morissette, the evocative video is shot entirely in black and white, with Dion taking over the screen in various gowns and high-end ensembles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-CA\" xml:lang=\"EN-CA\">The clip has a glamorous, behind-the-scenes Hollywood aesthetic, which is juxtaposed with the lyrics as Dion reflects on self-criticism, noting, \u201cI got my own imperfections.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cImperfections\u201d is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/celine-dion-courage-laying-down-imperfections-songs-listen-886393\/\">one of three singles<\/a> Dion released earlier this month, all of which will appear on her upcoming album <em>Courage<\/em>, out November 15th via Sony Music Entertainment Canada\/Columbia. The songs, \u201cCourage,\u201d \u201cLying Down\u201d and \u201cImperfections,\u201d followed her previously released <em>Courage<\/em> track, \u201cFlying on My Own,\u201d which she unveiled on the last night of her 16-year Las Vegas residency in June. \u201cImperfections\u201d was written by Ari Leff, Michael Pollack, Nicholas Perloff-Giles and DallasK (who also produced the song).<\/p>\n<p> <span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_8EokLztgMo?version=3&amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;origin=https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dion is currently out on her Courage World Tour, which kicked off in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.
