Self-proclaimed \u201cprogressives\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/opinion\/letter-to-the-editor-summit-daily-can-do-better-than-morgan-liddick\/\">Linda Bush<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/opinion\/letter-to-the-editor-please-replace-morgan-liddick-with-another-conservative-columnist-2\/\">Jim Callison<\/a>, who both recently called for the removal of his column, are actually regressives who, like most left wing liberals, can\u2019t stand to see conservative opinions opposing their enlightened view of the world in print. They can\u2019t beat him, so delete him. You don\u2019t hear conservatives beating the drum to remove Mike Littwin\u2019s extremely biased anti-Trump, anti-conservative column from the paper, and you shouldn\u2019t. Both sides of the political debate must be presented. If you disagree with Liddick\u2019s opinion pieces, don\u2019t read them, or write your own opinion piece on why he is wrong, but don\u2019t take away a column conservatives enjoy reading just because it opposes your \u201cprogressive\u201d ideals.
