Summit county has raised $135.68 with one district yet unreported, for the Roosevelt Memorial fund, according to Campaign Manager S.S. Fry, Summit county\u2019s quote was met at an even hundred dollars.<\/p>\n

17 BELOW ZERO HITS SUMMIT COUNTY DURING WEEK<\/strong><\/p>\n

Summit county enjoyed an early sign of cold weather last Tuesday night and Wednesday morning when the thermometer dropped to 17 degrees below zero, Farenheit, according to official records kept for the government at the Summit county power station at Dillon.<\/p>\n

BLUE RIVER AND FRENCH GULCH TO BUILD SHOPS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Blue River Dredging company which has had an option of the old Chamberlain-Dillingham sampler near the Colorado & Southern depot, has begun to move some machinery onto that site with a view, it is understood, if remodeling and fitting it up for a machine shop to take care of the work of the Blue River and French Gulch Dredging companies.<\/p>\n

2 HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS LEAVE TODAY TO PLAY GAMES AT KREMMLING<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everything is set for the trip to Kremmling for the basketball games Saturday, the ardor of the players, particularly, being worked up to the pitch where failure to make the trip would be a terrific blow.<\/p>\n

THREE SHIFTS ON WINN-EVANS SHAFTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Superintendent Charles Godfrey will put on three shifts next week on the sinking of the Winn-Evans shaft on the Emille placer in French gulch.<\/p>\n
