While it\u2019s not much, there is finally a bit of snow on the forecast for Sunday night into Monday. Natalie Sullivan, meteorologist at the National Weather Service station in Boulder, said the Summit County towns can expect anywhere from zero to three inches of accumulation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCurrently we have very light snowfall forecast for the mountains,\u201d Sullivan said. \u201cFor the highest elevations, those could see up to 4 inches, but pretty much everywhere else is going to be 0\u20133 inches.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This light snowfall is expected to begin just before midnight. Sullivan said that the snow may last through the night and then diminish in the late morning. By noon, she predicted, no more snow is likely to fall.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s likely going to be too cold to melt right away,\u201d Sullivan said. \u201cThe highest temperature that we see in Summit County is around mid- to upper-30s, so with any cold breeze that goes through, that\u2019s going to keep it pretty chilly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After this bit of snow dusting, Sullivan said there isn\u2019t any snow forecasted until next weekend.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the weekend we do see a potential for a little bit of snow,\u201d Sullivan said. \u201cIt looks like starting Saturday, there will be a slight chance to a chance of snow and that ends Saturday night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Those who weren\u2019t exactly ready for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/news\/more-snow-below-zero-temperatures-expected-ahead-of-halloween\/\">all of that snow in October<\/a> will get to delay winter a bit longer as we continue into a so-far mild November.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/news\/dusting-of-snow-on-the-horizon-for-summit-county-peaks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Summit Daily<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A scenic view from the Windy Point Campground in Dillon, Colo. on Oct. 8.Liz Copan \/ ecopan@summitdaily.com FRISCO \u2014 With no new November snow after a record-breaking October, Breckenridge Ski Resort and Copper Mountain Resort opened for a warm opening day.
