Keystone will open the Mountain House base area and the Peru Chair. Keystone spokeswoman Loryn Roberson said more Saturday terrain might be announced Friday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Breckenridge will open its Peak 9 base area and the intermediate Bonanza and Crosscut runs, the beginner Cashier, Lower American, Silverthorne and Lower Sawmill runs and the Upper Park Lane terrain park.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday afternoon, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area announced its Sundance beginner run would open Thursday. It is A-Basin\u2019s first open beginner run of the season, adding to the front-side terrain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Copper Mountain Resort announced Thursday morning that the American Flyer and Super Bee lifts will open Saturday, which will open High Point and Loverly beginner runs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>How are the ski areas able to open so much more terrain despite the lack of snow?
