The last time Summit schools were closed for weather was March 7, when&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/news\/avalanche-ruptures-natural-gas-line-i-70-closed-between-frisco-and-vail\/\">a series of avalanches shut down roadways<\/a>&nbsp;and schools, caused power outages and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/news\/snow-pummels-summit-county-ski-resorts-overnight-copper-mountain-on-delayed-opening\/\">delayed resort openings<\/a>.
