Joseph described it as <em>&#8220;one of the cooler things to happen to me through music.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"5.2\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">jack white just sent me some guitar pedals and a selection of vinyls from <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/thirdmanrecords?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@thirdmanrecords<\/a> .<br \/>his note encouraged me to stay inspired.<br \/>one of the cooler things to happen to me through music.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 tyler j\u00f8seph (@tylerrjoseph) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tylerrjoseph\/status\/1219778543879671809?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 22, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Last year, Jack White referenced TOP in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rocksound.tv\/news\/read\/jack-white-on-twenty-one-pilots-its-just-really-great-songwriting\">interview with Rolling Stone<\/a>, describing them as a band that just does <em>&#8220;really great songwriting&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He added <em>&#8220;I love what they\u2019re doing. First time I saw them was on&nbsp;Saturday Night Live. And I thought \u2018Oh, that\u2019s really great. Another really cool two-piece band that can do something really powerful.\u2019 I liked what they were doing, playing piano and bass, that guy, the lead singer.
