TEDxBreck is currently soliciting speakers and sponsors.<\/strong><br \/><em>Courtesy TEDxBreck<\/em><\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>BRECKENRIDGE \u2014 TED \u2014 a conference company known for its thought-provoking talks on the subjects of technology, entertainment and design \u2014 will have an independently organized event May 30 at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge. Planning for the TEDxBreck conference began with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/magazines\/explore-summit-magazine\/amazing-brains-brings-neurofeedback-therapy-to-frisco\/\">Micah Shanser, a local therapist and staff member at Amazing Brains<\/a>. He then brought together a group of community partners committed to organizing the local event\u2019s logistics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTEDxBreck has truly become a community effort,\u201d Shanser said in a news release. \u201cWe have a wide range of businesses and volunteers contributing their time and resources to this exciting launch. It\u2019s been incredibly exciting to see so much energy around this effort. We\u2019re expecting this to be the first of many great events for TEDxBreck.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event\u2019s organizing committee is seeking speakers and sponsors. TEDxBreck\u2019s theme is \u201cConnections.\u201d The speakers selected to give talks will be sharing ideas related to the role that connections play in communities, the outdoors and the human experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Applications for speakers will be open through Monday, Feb. 17.
