{"id":803455,"date":"2020-01-25T09:37:58","date_gmt":"2020-01-25T16:37:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=942938"},"modified":"2020-01-25T09:37:58","modified_gmt":"2020-01-25T16:37:58","slug":"chance-the-rapper-to-host-punkd-revival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/ksmt\/music-news\/chance-the-rapper-to-host-punkd-revival\/","title":{"rendered":"Chance the Rapper to Host \u2018Punk\u2019d\u2019 Revival"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/c.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/chance-the-rapper\/\" id=\"auto-tag_chance-the-rapper\" data-tag=\"chance-the-rapper\">Chance the Rapper<\/a> will mastermind pranks against fellow celebrities in an upcoming revival of the MTV show <em>Punk\u2019d<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While MTV Studios will produce the series, the <em>Punk\u2019d<\/em> reboot will be exclusive to the upcoming streaming service Quibi, with Chance filling the prankster seat previously occupied by Ashton Kutcher.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201c<i>Punk\u2019d<\/i>&nbsp;is one of MTV\u2019s most iconic franchises,\u201d Chance the Rapper said in a statement. \u201cI grew up watching this show, and it\u2019s surreal to be in the driver\u2019s seat this time around on Quibi.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Chance\u2019s victims have not yet been revealed, but in a teaser released Friday, the rapper torments Megan Thee Stallion with a prank involving an escaped gorilla.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The <em>Punk\u2019d<\/em> revival\u2019s premiere date has not yet been announced. When it does arrive, each episode of Punk\u2019d will run 10 minutes. In addition to <em>Punk\u2019d<\/em>, Quibi will also update the MTV dating series <em>Singled Out<\/em> for the Tinder generation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/live-feed\/chance-rapper-host-punkd-revival-at-quibi-1272574\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> writes<\/a>.
