Billie Eilish<\/a> made her Grammy Awards debut on Sunday with a simple performance of \u201cWhen the Party\u2019s Over.\u201d The superstar is up for six awards: When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?  <\/i>for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, \u201cBad Guy\u201d for Record and Song of the Year and Best New Artist<\/a> and best Pop Solo Performance. Her brother Finneas<\/a> won Producer of the Year.<\/p>\n

Eilish gave an intense, emotional performance of the single; the set was sparse, with the singer seated on a stool. Eilish was joined by her brother, who played the piano beside her. The performance ended with Finneas clapping for his sister before they stepped off stage together.<\/p>\n

Eighteen-year-old Eilish first caught everyone\u2019s ears in 2015 with the single \u201cOcean Eyes,\u201d which she posted on SoundCloud. In 2017, she released her debut EP Don\u2019t Smile at Me<\/em> and contributed songs to the soundtracks for Seasons One and Two of 13 Reasons Why<\/em>. Her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go<\/em>? was released in March and has been certified 2x platinum. It was led by the hit single \u201cBad Guy,\u201d which peaked at Number Three on Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s Top 100.<\/p>\n

Eilish\u2019s most recent single, \u201cEverything I Wanted,\u201d<\/a> is dedicated to Finneas \u2014 her collaborator and best friend \u2014 and addresses some of her fears and anxieties around fame. \u201cIt\u2019s annoying,\u201d she previously told Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI have this amazing thing in front of me, and I don\u2019t want<\/em> to hate it. And I don\u2019t<\/em> hate it. But I hate certain parts of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
