{"id":803556,"date":"2020-01-28T11:03:48","date_gmt":"2020-01-28T18:03:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=944485"},"modified":"2020-01-28T11:03:48","modified_gmt":"2020-01-28T18:03:48","slug":"ty-segalls-fuzz-plots-first-tour-in-five-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/ksmt\/music-news\/ty-segalls-fuzz-plots-first-tour-in-five-years\/","title":{"rendered":"Ty Segall\u2019s Fuzz Plots First Tour in Five Years"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/fuzz-tour-ty-segall.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\">Fuzz \u2014 the trio of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/ty-segall\/\" id=\"auto-tag_ty-segall\" data-tag=\"ty-segall\">Ty Segall<\/a>, Charles Moothart, and Chad Ubovich \u2014 will embark on their first North American tour in five years this May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The run kicks off May 27th at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco and crisscrosses the United States and Canada over the next month, with a special three-night run at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles June 5th through 7th. Fuzz will wrap the trek June 28th at Mr. Small\u2019s Theater in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Tickets for the tour go on sale January 31st at 10 a.m. CT. Per a press release, additional Fuzz news will be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Segall and Moothart founded Fuzz in 2012 and released their self-titled debut the following year. Ubovich eventually replaced original bassist Roland Cosio, and in 2015 the group released its second LP, <i>II<\/i><em>.<\/em> Along with their two albums, Fuzz have released a handful of seven-inches and EPs, including a live record in 2013 and covers of King Crimson\u2019s \u201c21st Century Schizoid Man\u201d and the Kinks\u2019 \u201cTill the End of the Day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In the years between Fuzz records, Segall has stayed characteristically busy with his own music, releasing four albums between 2016 and 2019.
