These are serious, SERIOUS, heavy-duty players; the talent on this recording is pretty freaking insane \u2014 the sonic impact of Lee \u2018Scratch\u2019 Perry alone as an artist, producer, &amp; mixer on modern music itself, regardless of genre, simply cannot be overstated. It doesn\u2019t sound anything like my band, but that\u2019s the point of working with other musicians on different projects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saudade \u2014 a term in Portuguese used to describe longing and melancholy \u2014 consists of Deftones\u2019 Chino Moreno, bassist Chuck Doom, Bad Brains\u2019 Dr. Know, John Medeski (Medeski Martin and Wood), and others. Their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/deftones-bad-brains-members-form-new-supergroup-90250\/\">self-titled debut single<\/a> was released in 2016.
