The video, directed by Dan Cadan and Jonathon (Scully) Mowatt, features actors Jack O\u2019Connell and Gala Gordon and was filmed at London venue Scala.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow it manages to combine the influences of Metallica, The Jesters Of Malice, Mantovani, Robinson Crusoe as well as Bob Marley AND The Wailers is literally beyond me,\u201d Gallagher said in a statement. \u201cOh, and it\u2019s not about City by the way.\u201d He added of the video on Twitter, \u201cAnybody remember <em>Mean Streets<\/em>?\u201d in reference to Martin Scorsese\u2019s 1973 film.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBlue Moon Rising\u201d comes off the band\u2019s upcoming EP, <em>Blue Moon Rising EP<\/em>, which is out March 6th. The EP also features Noel Gallagher\u2019s High Flying Birds\u2019 recent single <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/noel-gallaghers-high-flying-birds-wandering-star-912252\/\">\u201cWandering Star\u201d<\/a> and will also include two remixes of the title track.<\/p>\n<p>Noel Gallagher\u2019s High Flying Birds will perform two nights in Manchester&nbsp;at the O2 Apollo on March 24th and 25th. They will also play London\u2019s Royal Albert Hall on March 27th as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concerts, and have announced several other U.K. dates for this spring.
