Following his win at the Grammys on Sunday night, Roddy Ricch<\/a> appeared on The Tonight Show<\/a><\/em> to perform his single \u201cThe Box.\u201d Ricch, who wore a Kobe Bryant Lakers jersey, rapped the track inside a three-walled video box, which shifted its screens throughout the performance.<\/p>\n

Ricch won Best Rap Performance at the Grammys for \u201cRacks in the Middle,\u201d a joint number with Nipsey Hussle and Hit-Boy. \u201cThe Box,\u201d meanwhile, has been at the top of the charts<\/a> for several weeks, currently in its fourth consecutive week at No. 1 on the RS<\/em> 100. The song comes off Ricch\u2019s album Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial<\/i>, which dropped last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Ricch and Meek Mill released \u201cLetter to Nipsey,\u201d<\/a> a collaborative track celebrating the life and work of Hussle, who died last year. In a December interview with Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>, Ricch talked about Hussle\u2019s death, noting, \u201cI got a portrait of Nipsey at my house, bro. I got to put a platinum plaque by that, and my brother is not here to share that with me. That\u2019s his first platinum single. We did that together. Nigga, that hurt me\u2026 But at the same time, that\u2019s life.\u201d<\/p>\n
