Steve Martin<\/a> and the Steep Canyon Rangers<\/a> appeared on The Late Show<\/em> to perform their new single \u201cCalifornia.\u201d<\/a> The group, who dropped the new single earlier this month, gave the bluesy track a rollicking feel onstage, with Martin playing banjo and singing.<\/p>\n

Martin also sat down for an interview with host Stephen Colbert, in which he talked about his love for Lil Nas X\u2019s hit \u201cOld Town Road\u201d and his interactions with fans. \u201cThe song \u2018Old Town Road\u2019 was a huge hit in our house, too,\u201d Martin said. \u201cMy daughter would get so excited.\u201d<\/p>\n
