Kelly Clarkson<\/a> invited Schitt\u2019s Creek<\/em><\/a> star Annie Murphy onto her talk show on Wednesday, where the duo performed a remix of the very goofy, very trashy pop song Murphy\u2019s character sings in the show, \u201cA Little Bit Alexis.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the show, the song is the theme to Alexis\u2019s \u201ccritically reviewed limited reality series,\u201d and she performs it at an audition for the role of Sally Bowles in her mother Moira\u2019s production of Cabaret<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Clarkson adds her own verse to the song, paying homage to her home state of Texas and bragging that she\u2019s \u201cgot, like, 20 jobs.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em> premiered last September and has proven to be a hit<\/a>, currently averaging 1.9 million viewers per episode and ranking fourth in all syndicated talk show ratings. Past episodes have featured guests like John Legend, Ben Platt and Clarkson\u2019s former American Idol<\/em> judges.<\/p>\n

The show has also become well-known for its opening \u201cKellyoke\u201d segments, where Clarkson performs a cover of a well-known song. So far she\u2019s performed songs like Lizzo\u2019s \u201cJuice,\u201d Taylor Swift\u2019s \u201cDelicate\u201d and Lady Gaga\u2019s \u201cBad Romance.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sixth and final season of Schitt\u2019s Creek <\/em>premiered earlier this month on CBC Television.<\/p>\n
