Usher<\/a> performed an emotional rendition of \u201cAmazing Grace\u201d as the Los Angeles Lakers honored Kobe Bryant<\/a>, his daughter Gianna and the victims of the tragic helicopter crash. Friday\u2019s game at Los Angeles\u2019 Staples Center marked the Lakers\u2019 first since Bryant\u2019s death<\/a> on January 26th. <\/span><\/p>\n

The singer\u2019s performance was accompanied by a video showing how fans, fellow basketball players and athletes across sports and across the world mourned the Lakers legend, who was among nine killed in the crash outside Calabasas, California.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following Usher\u2019s performance, the Lakers played a six-minute tribute video to Bryant highlighting his career accomplishments with voiceover provided by the basketball legend. Los Angeles Philharmonic cellist Ben Hong accompanied the video live at center court.<\/span><\/p>\n

Boyz II Men<\/a>, who were also on hand at the Staples Center Sunday for the Grammys\u2019 last-minute tribute to Bryant<\/a>, delivered the National Anthem at Friday\u2019s game.<\/span><\/p>\n
