Adam Lambert<\/a> has announced a new album, Velvet<\/em>, out March 20th. The singer also dropped the funky lead single, \u201cRoses,\u201d featuring Nile Rodgers<\/a> of Chic.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re like a knife cuz your looks could kill\/Hold my breath every time we kiss,\u201d he sings over Rodgers\u2019 guitar. The Seventies disco pioneer can be heard all over the track, echoing his work on Daft Punk\u2019s \u201cGet Lucky.\u201d<\/p>\n

Velvet<\/em><\/a> is Lambert\u2019s fourth LP. The album features 13 tracks, which Lambert described<\/a> as \u201cThirteen slinky numbers to catch a vibe to.\u201d \u201cRoses\u201d follows the singles \u201cSuperpower,\u201d<\/a> \u201cComin in Hot\u201d<\/a> and \u201cFeel Something.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

On February 27th, Lambert will join Queen and Alice Cooper for Fire Fight Australia<\/a>, a benefit concert at Sydney\u2019s ANZ Stadium. Proceeds will aid the bushfire relief. In between Queen\u2019s European tour in the spring, Lambert will also perform a mini Las Vegas residency held at the Venetian on April 22nd, 24th and 25th. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. PST on February 8th via Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n
