Lil Nas X<\/a> and Nas<\/a> channel The Matrix<\/em>, Scream <\/em>and more in the supernatural video for \u201cRodeo,\u201d a remix<\/a> the rappers recently unveiled<\/a> at the Grammys.<\/p>\n

Directed by Los Angeles duo Bradley & Pablo, the clip opens with Lil Nas X in a neon green phone booth, paying homage to 1984\u2019s Repo Man.<\/em> He then receives a threatening phone call \u00e0 la Scream, <\/em>with a disguised voice claiming \u201cI want to play a game.\u201d<\/em> After he gets bitten by a vampire, he hobbles along a street at night with piercing red eyes, as neighbors shut their drapes and hang garlic on their porches.<\/p>\n

In a nod to the Natural Born Killers<\/em> drugstore scene<\/a>, he strolls into a pharmacy as another vampire can be seen eating Doritos \u2014 which the rapper recently endorsed<\/a> in an ad with Sam Elliott. Nas appears in Matrix<\/em> sunglasses and a leather trench coat as he takes over the second verse \u2014 as Cardi B did on the studio recording: \u201cI might spin the block on 12 horses\/Buy the block and get a boss bitch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lil Nas X was nominated for six Grammys this year; he won Best Music Video for \u201cOld Town Road\u201d<\/a> with Billy Ray Cyrus and Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance. He\u2019s set to perform both weekends at Coachella.<\/a><\/p>\n
