Hayley Williams<\/a> encounters bizarre intruders in her home in \u201cCinnamon,\u201d the third video directed by Warren Fu from the Paramore<\/a> frontwoman. The track appears on the singer\u2019s solo debut, Petals For Armor<\/em>, out May 8th.<\/p>\n

Not to be confused with Neil Young and Crazy Horse\u2019s \u201cCinnamon Girl\u201d (or Lana Del Rey\u2019s<\/a>, for that matter), \u201cCinnamon\u201d opens with Williams waking up in her house and walking down the stairs to find a record playing and a piece of her hair on the ground. She then meets some insanely creepy figures that follow her around.<\/p>\n

\u201cEat my breakfast in the nude\/lemon water, living room,\u201d she sings. \u201cHome is where I\u2019m feminine\/smells like citrus and cinnamon.\u201d According to Williams, the track is about her house: \u201cI love this song so much,\u201d Williams said of the song on her Instagram<\/a>. \u201cFor now, I just want you to know it\u2019s an ode to my home.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCinnamon\u201d follows the singles \u201cSimmer\u201d<\/a> and \u201cLeave It Alone.\u201d<\/a> Williams recently spoke to Apple Music\u2019s Zane Lowe about the album\u2019s themes of grief and depression, admitting that she had suicidal thoughts and that her dog helped her hold on. \u201cBecause life is still hard,\u201d she told Lowe.<\/a> \u201cIt didn\u2019t become a breeze overnight or anything and it\u2019s been years and it\u2019s still not a breeze, but it\u2019s so rich and now that I\u2019m taking account of all these feelings and I\u2019m feeling all of them, there\u2019s this beautiful rainbow versus just the deep end.\u201d<\/p>\n
