At the 62nd annual Grammy Awards last month, Demi Lovato<\/a> took the stage<\/a> for the first time in nearly two years. She premiered a heartbreaking ballad titled \u201cAnyone,\u201d and now the singer has officially released the live version.<\/p>\n

The track starts with Lovato singing, \u201cI tried to talk to my piano,\u201d before she breaks down into tears. She starts up again, powering through and gaining more confidence with each line. \u201cI feel stupid when I sing\/Nobody\u2019s listening to me,\u201d she says, as the crowd applauds.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour support has been incredible since the release of \u2018Anyone,’\u201d the singer wrote on her Instagram<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m so blown away by the stories you\u2019ve shared connecting with the song in your own way. I hear you, and thank you for listening.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lovato recently admitted to Apple Music\u2019s Zane Lowe that she wrote \u201cAnyone\u201d four days before she suffered an overdose<\/a> in 2018. \u201cI wish I could go back in time and help that version of myself,\u201d she told him<\/a>. \u201cI listen back to these lyrics and I hear it as a cry for help.\u201d Mentioning her hospital stay, she remembered thinking, \u201cIf I ever come back, I want to sing this song.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lovato ventured down to Miami\u2019s Hard Rock Stadium to deliver a powerhouse performance<\/a> at the Super Bowl last week. She sang the National Anthem during the pre-game, dressed in a slick white pant suit.<\/p>\n
