Sean Paul<\/a> has released his first single of 2020, \u201cCalling on Me,\u201d featuring the Swedish singer Tove Lo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Calling on Me\u2019 is a dope song reflecting the real side of love,\u201d Sean Paul said in a statement. \u201cIf you love someone, the energy doesn\u2019t ever change. They are able to call on you at all times. I\u2019m proud to have such an amazing vocalist like Tove Lo be on the track with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the track, Paul proclaims, \u201cI\u2019ll be there to give you what you need\/I\u2019ll support your calling selflessly\/Just like you would do for me without a \u2018please\u2019\/Same blood with me.\u201d Tove Lo sings the hook: \u201cCalling, calling, calling on me\/Forever running to you\/I\u2019ll be, I\u2019ll be, I\u2019ll be on time\/Like you expect me to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul was previously featured on Tainy\u2019s Latin-Caribbean all-star single \u201cLento,\u201d<\/a> alongside Cazzu and Mozart La Para. Tainy also produced Paul\u2019s last single, \u201cContra La Pared,\u201d<\/a> released last March and featuring J Balvin.<\/p>\n

Following the release of her album Sunshine Kitty<\/em> in 2019, Tove Lo has been churning out hits this year, including the Finneas-produced \u201cBikini Porn\u201d<\/a> and \u201cPassion and Pain Taste the Same When I\u2019m Weak.\u201d<\/a> She shared the music video<\/a> for \u201cAre U Gonna Tell Her?\u201d<\/a>, featuring MC Zaac, last month. Tove Lo is currently on tour for Sunshine Kitty<\/em> with support from Alma and Broods; the North American leg wraps February 28th at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
