Green Day<\/a> appeared on The Late Late Show<\/em> to perform their recent song \u201cOh Yeah!\u201d and to discuss their new album Father of All\u2026<\/em><\/a> The rock band gave a rousing performance of the upbeat track and sat down for an interview with host James Corden.<\/p>\n

During their interview with Corden, band members Billy Joe Armstrong, Tr\u00e9 Cool and Mike Dirnt talked about their new album and upcoming tour<\/a> with Weezer and Fall Out Boy, as well as what it means for them to be an inspiration to so many bands. \u201cWe\u2019ve haven\u2019t done it yet, but I think it\u2019s going to be somewhere between a hella mega party and a rolling barbecue,\u201d Dirnt said of the summer tour. \u201cWe\u2019ve known Weezer forever,\u201d Armstrong added. \u201cAnd then Fall Out Boy, they\u2019re our children and it\u2019s nice to hang out with our kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response to how it feels to be the elder statesmen of rock, Cool noted, \u201cWe\u2019re basically an older, less mature Green Day and we\u2019ve thrown our seed all around the world. So there\u2019s gonna be kids.\u201d<\/p>\n
