Mandy Moore<\/a> reflects on her early music career as a teenager in \u201cFifteen,\u201d the latest single from her upcoming album Silver Landings<\/em>, out March 6th.<\/p>\n

In the song, Moore details the pride she feels towards her younger self \u2014 she\u2019s \u201cstill a part of me,\u201d she sings \u2014 while fully coming into her own as a mature artist.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a full circle journey to embrace who I was as a teenager starting off in this industry and forgive my past self for judging her so harshly,\u201d Moore wrote about the single. \u201cFor years, I apologized for the creative output of that time but in the making of this new collection of music, I was able to process so much and have come to have great affection for that young girl, that part of me, because she\u2019s the reason I\u2019m here today.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moore also released a video for \u201cFifteen,\u201d filmed live with a full band at United Studio B in Los Angeles, where the majority of Silver Landings <\/em>was recorded.<\/p>\n

Silver Landings<\/em> will be Moore\u2019s first album in 10 years, following 2009\u2019s Amanda Leigh<\/em>. She previously shared the album tracks \u201cI\u2019d Rather Lose,\u201d<\/a> \u201cWhen I Wasn\u2019t Watching\u201d<\/a> and \u201cSave a Little for Yourself.\u201d<\/a> She also recently added two dates to her upcoming 2020 North American tour<\/a> at the Massey Theatre in Vancouver (May 4th) and the Ace Theater in Los Angeles (May 16th).<\/p>\n
