{"id":804100,"date":"2020-02-12T10:17:09","date_gmt":"2020-02-12T17:17:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=951552"},"modified":"2020-02-12T10:17:09","modified_gmt":"2020-02-12T17:17:09","slug":"enormous-the-gorge-story-trailer-focuses-on-americas-most-scenic-concert-venue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/ksmt\/music-news\/enormous-the-gorge-story-trailer-focuses-on-americas-most-scenic-concert-venue\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Enormous: The Gorge Story\u2019 Trailer Focuses on America\u2019s Most Scenic Concert Venue"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/TheGorge.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">One of North America\u2019s most scenic concert venues is the focus of the new documentary <em>Enormous: The Gorge Story<\/em>, a film about the picturesque George, Washington, amphitheater that has become a favorite of artists like Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ahead of the documentary\u2019s one-night-only theatrical release on April 28th, <em>Enormous<\/em> has shared a new trailer where Pearl Jam\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/mike-mccready\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mike-mccready\" data-tag=\"mike-mccready\">Mike McCready<\/a>, Dave Matthews and Steve Miller profess their love for the rural venue situated 150 miles from Seattle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWhen people ask me about our band, about Pearl Jam, \u2018Where is your favorite place to play in the world?\u2019 This is always number one,\u201d McCready says of the Gorge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe venue\u2026 there\u2019s no place like it in the world,\u201d Matthews said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The film both tells the history of the venue and features performances from many of the artists that have performed at the Gorge, including Bob Dylan, Mumford &amp; Sons, Elvis Costello and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The one-night-only theatrical release will feature both the full-length documentary as well as exclusive Gorge-recorded performance footage of Hozier, Phantogram, and Portugal.
