Billie Eilish<\/a> has released \u201cNo Time to Die,\u201d the latest James Bond<\/a> theme song that she co-wrote (with her brother and collaborator Finneas<\/a>) and recorded for the upcoming 007 film of the same name.<\/p>\n

The contemplative piano-driven track features Eilish\u2019s signature haunting whisper before hitting a string-drenched crescendo toward the song\u2019s latter half. Matched with tense, somber lyrics, the song fits in with the extensive Bond movie song canon. \u201cFool me once, fool me twice,\u201d she sings. \u201cYou\u2019ll never see me cry, there\u2019s just no time to die.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eilish, at 18, is now the youngest person to write and record a Bond theme song, joining the ranks of Sam Smith, Adele, Tina Turner, Madonna and Wings.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt feels crazy to be a part of this in every way,\u201d  Eilish said in a statement<\/a>. \u201cTo be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I\u2019m still in shock.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Eilish performed<\/a> the In Memoriam tribute at the 2020 Academy Awards ceremony, covering the Beatles\u2019 \u201cYesterday.\u201d The pop star swept the Grammy Awards<\/a> this year, taking home all four major awards: Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. She also performed her song \u201cWhen the Party\u2019s Over\u201d<\/a> on the telecast.<\/p>\n

No Time to Die<\/em>, starring Daniel Craig as James Bond, opens in theaters April 10th.<\/p>\n
