Since announcing their comeback from a nine-year hiatus last month,<\/a> Bright Eyes<\/a> have teased new music and unveiled a 2020 world tour.<\/p>\n

Frontman Conor Oberst<\/a>, Mike Mogis and Nate Wolcott hinted at a new record in the clip above, complete with the three musicians overseeing an orchestra in a studio. The hashtag #BrightEyes2020 appears on the screen.<\/p>\n

After a show in Tokyo in March, Bright Eyes will kick off a North American leg in Spokane, Washington, on May 14th. They\u2019ll then hit the West Coast, including three consecutive nights at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles in May. On June 20th, they\u2019ll perform at the Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, before heading to Europe.<\/p>\n

Bright Eyes announced their hiatus following 2011\u2019s The People\u2019s Key.<\/em> In the time since Oberst released several solo albums and formed Better Oblivion Community Center with Phoebe Bridgers. Mogis has produced several records, including Bridgers 2017 debut Stranger in the Alps.<\/em> Walcott toured as keyboardist with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2016.<\/p>\n

Oberst alluded in his end-of-decade survey<\/a> that his biggest hope for 2020 is: \u201cThat people can agree on reality again.\u201d This is a solid start.<\/p>\n
