Eric Clapton<\/a> assembled an incredible roster of musicians on Sunday evening to honor the late Ginger Baker<\/a> at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith in London: Roger Waters<\/a>, Nile Rodgers, Ron Wood<\/a>, Steve Winwood<\/a> and Paul Carrack, along with Baker\u2019s son Kofi.<\/p>\n

The show was centered around songs by Cream and Blind Faith; Clapton and Waters kicked it all off with \u201cSunshine of Your Love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI called him Peter Edward,\u201d Clapton told the crowd, referencing the drummer\u2019s real name. \u201cI think he\u2019s here somewhere and he\u2019ll be playing music for you tonight and we\u2019re going to help him along. He was a scoundrel, but I loved him and he loved me and that was that. I saw some people get the rough edge of his tongue, but I never did and I feel blessed. That\u2019s why I\u2019m doing this. I miss him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other highlights from the show included Waters playing \u201cWhite Room\u201d and \u201cStrange Brew,\u201d Rodgers and Carrack breaking out \u201cI Feel Free\u201d and Wood and Henry Spinetti tackling \u201cBadge.\u201d Winwood came out midway through the night for the Blind Faith songs \u201cHad to Cry Today,\u201d \u201cPresence of the Lord,\u201d \u201cWell all Right\u201d and \u201cCan\u2019t Find My Way Home.\u201d The night wrapped up with everyone coming together for \u201cCrossroads.\u201d<\/p>\n
