The song deals in the back-and-forth emotions of a relationship that may be fraying, but the feelings continue. She opens with declarations about being true to someone. \u201cNo one love you like I love you,\u201d she sings. \u201cNever cheat, never lie\/Never put no one above you\/I gave you space and time.\u201d<\/p>\n

But despite the devotion, sometimes things don\u2019t work out and she deals with the aftermath as her paramour has moved on to another. \u201cDo your days get a little bit longer? Nights get a little bit colder?,\u201d Gomez questions her former love. \u201cHeart beat a little bit louder?\u201d On the chorus, Gomez reminds her ex that what they had won\u2019t quickly dissipate. \u201cEvery time your lips touch another,\u201d she sings. \u201cI want you to feel me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rare <\/em>is the singer\u2019s third studio album and features singles \u201cLose You to Love Me<\/a>,\u201d \u201cLook at Her Now<\/a>\u201d and the title track<\/a>. The album bowed at Number One<\/a> on the Rolling Stone <\/em>Top 200 Albums chart when it was released last month.<\/p>\n
